University of British Columbia Global Fund

Do you have an idea that can make an impact for UBC? Funding can be scarce, but we know that creativity is not.

The Global Fund provides grants of up to $2000 to currently enrolled UBC Vancouver students to fund student-led initiatives, projects or events that are rooted in the values of international engagement, intercultural understanding, sustainability, and collaboration and have a connection with the Global Lounge.

Our guidelines are deliberately flexible to accommodate initiatives that further the goals of this space; we will work with you to explore all options. We have funded events big and small, helped small projects start and grow, supported students bringing more to UBC from around the world, and worked to make our world a place of dialogue and understanding. Last year, we funded more than a dozen projects of these kinds and more.
