    Hi, it’s Hana again!
When I checked my application status like a week ago, it said a required document for me was an interim transcript. But, now the status says my application is ready for evaluation, which is odd because neither my high school nor I submitted the transcript yet. I got so confused. Why the status changed? Is that an error? But anyway I still have to send my transcript, right?

      Hi Hana,

In order for us to look into your particular situation it would be best for you to e-mail admissions.inquiry@ubc.ca with your full name, UBC student number and your question above – that way we can get back to you with information specific to your application!

      Hope this helps,
      Camille

Mine says the same thing, I’m so confused. Does this mean I’m being evaluated, or do I still need to submit my report cards?

Hi, I received an email from UBC a few days ago and it said I have to send my spring transcript by April 30. UBC website says that it’s better to send the document asap, but I don’t have a spring transcript yet. But yesterday, I got my transcript which includes my 1st semester courses marks. So.. would it be better if I send this transcript first just in case, and then the spring transcript later when I get it in around April 10?

      Hi Hana,

You might want to contact us so we can look into your application. It is hard to tell without looking at your application what information Admissions will use to evaluate you.

It doesn’t hurt to send in a transcript right away if you want to. The worst case scenario is Admissions will tell you it’s too early and ask you to send another one later on when there is enough information available.

      Good luck with your application!

      Kathryn
