Thursday, September 1st, 2011Welcome back to another school year at UBC!
You are invited to attend Access & Diversity’s “Imagine More” Barbeque on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 from 11am – 1pm. It’ll be delicious. The location for the event is Crane Library at Room 1253, 1874 East Mall in Brock Hall. We look forward to seeing you then.
Also please join us for three IMAGINE MORE A&D WORKSHOPS which will be held consecutive Thursdays from 12 to 1:30 starting September 22nd. The location is also Crane Library. Pizza will be provided.
The first workshop is on Thursday, September 22, 2011: STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS – Obtain valuable tips for success from your peers.
The second workshop on Thursday, September 29, 2011 is about FUNDING – Get information about funding programs available for students with disabilities.
And, the third workshop on Thursday, October 6, 2011 focuses on TECHNOLOGY. Learn about free or cheap and easy-to-use technical aids that will enhance your life as a student.
